The Entirety Of Hell Knows That Satan Has A Lover - Chapter 8

As Lucifer, attracting a lover is as easy as a flick of a finger.

Before the fall, the Shining Morning Star was considered the collective dream lover of all three worlds, even the slightest touch of his hand was greatly desired. Yet, Heaven's enforced celibacy, with God constantly watching, made everyone wary of approaching Lucifer. After the fall, Lucifer, as the lord of Hell, possessed a demonic charm. His lingering purity and cold aloofness became an irresistible temptation.

Numerous demons and fallen angels were willing to offer themselves, eager to be Lucifer's first-ever lover.

However, despite the anticipations of Hell's creatures, their Lord Satan has paused his arrangements for a consort, setting his sights on someone not from Hell.

"Who is it?"

"Who has His Majesty taken a liking to?"

Satan's scandal has turned the Nine Circles of Hell upside down, with everyone ready to tear apart the unknown "lover"! When they were obediently registering as consorts, where did this impish creature come from to climb into Satan's bed and haunt their dreams for an entire year!

In addition to this, Gluttony, one of the Seven Deadly Sins, became the focus of everyone's attention due to his expression.

— Disheartened.

Beelzebub, with a cold expression, tore down the registration notice posted on the Gate of Hell, then left the first circle of Hell without looking back. This left the lower-ranked demons, who had witnessed the beauty of archangel class, clutching their hearts. Satan wouldn't even bother with Beelzebub, how beautiful could the real lover be then.

With his departure, the quiet atmosphere was instantly disrupted.

"It's unbelievable, His Highness Beelzebub didn't object to this at all!" The fallen angel mumbled in despair.

"Lord Beelzebub must be too afraid to say anything," a demon grumbled resentfully.

The demons and fallen angels with distinct camps are unexpectedly in the same mood at this moment - really want to kill the guy who pried the corner of their wall!

In the palace, Asmodeus of the Seven Deadly Sins of Lust was pestering Lucifer, not letting him go out, "Your Majesty, I held another banquet, and there are many beauties inside, can you come and take a look?" His body almost sticking to Lucifer's, the love in his eyes was completely undisguised, hot and persistent.

He desires Lucifer.

He also wants Lucifer to desire him, even if he’s not the only one.

Lucifer raised his eyebrows mysteriously. He knew that Asmodeus, like Beelzebub, harbored strange feelings for him. However, due to the nature of the seven sins, Asmodeus had already encountered other demons in hell and didn't dare to make any ambiguous moves towards him anymore. Unexpectedly, after declaring that he had a lover, Asmodeus was incited to pursue him again, even though Beelzebub was already devastated.

To prevent Asmodeus from getting any further ideas, Lucifer harshly said, "Asmodeus, I already have a lover."

Asmodeus laughed it off, "That's alright, Your Majesty."

He is not Beelzebub, whose love life is blank, can naturally see that Lucifer is still a virgin with his own eyes.

His Majesty hasn't touched his lover, which means there's still a chance.

"Your Majesty, as long as you're willing, I will forever dedicate myself to you," Asmodeus knelt on one knee and declared, without hesitation, words that could be compared to a vow. For countless years, he had been infatuated with Lucifer, feeling deep emotions only for him. If it weren't for the feeling that he wasn't worthy of Lucifer, he would never have given up so easily.

No matter who the lover is, they must get past him first!

Lucifer watched him, the fingers beneath his sleeve bent, wanting to pull up Asmodeus, yet feared to give him hope.

It shouldn't be this way—

It's best to keep a fixed distance between him and his companions.

He can't afford, nor can offer, deeper feelings.

In the end, he reached out his hand.

“You... you may not seem straightforward, but you are more direct than one could imagine," Lucifer ruffled Asmodeus's hair, just like the early days when he, as Lucifer, took care of the Archangels who were born later than him. All Archangels, in fact all angels, are those who he needs to guide properly.

God said, he controls the first rank of the Archangels.

This duty seems to continue even after his fall, forming another kind of tie.

Lucifer paused for a moment before his silhouette vanished at the end of the corridor, leaving Asmodeus kneeling on the spot with a look of unwillingness and a glint of moisture in his eyes.

-----

After Beelzebub and Asmodeus failed in a row among the Seven Deadly Sins, with Lucifer apparently about to head back to the world, the remaining three had their rebellious emotions stirred up.

They held a small meeting without Beelzebub and Asmodeus.

The first to vent outright was Leviathan, "I can't believe His Majesty cares more about his lover than us."

Samael pointed out her mistake sharply, "His Majesty cares not about his lover, but he doesn't want us interfering in his private life."

Belial was yawning on the side, nonchalant.

"You are so noisy, Leviathan."

"I don't want to see a stranger intruding in our world," Leviathan bit her finger in frustration while sitting in a chair. Hearing Belial's words, she immediately retorted, "Belial, you're not unaware of the situation. Both angels and fallen angels care deeply about such matters as one's first time."

Angels value chastity, fallen angels value loyalty; this is a secret tacitly acknowledged within the three realms.

His Majesty, by any means, does not seem like a promiscuous fallen angel.

Belial tossed his long hair over his shoulders. Underneath his laid-back demeanor was a feeling of discontent, "That's because those two are useless. They can't even make His Majesty interested." If only they could get in bed, everything else could be easily dealt with!

"Samael, I want to see that guy. If he's not strong enough, I'll eat him," Leviathan lunged at Samael, pleading with Wrath of the Seven Deadly Sins, who held power only second to Lucifer. Samael pinched her chubby face. If this silly dragon really went ahead with this, Lucifer would be the one offended.

"Aren't you afraid of His Majesty's wrath?"

"...For the sake of Beelzebub and Asmodeus not feeling bad, I can withstand it once."

Leviathan hesitated for a few seconds before giving an answer with an expression of heading to their doom.

Samael slapped down Leviathan's defiant head, "No. Rather than doing something hasty and asking for forgiveness later, it's better to stop His Majesty and wait until his interest fades." He understood Lucifer's character, considering it a success if the usual interest lasted for three days.

Under his detailed guidance, Leviathan and Bell widened their eyes, staring at Samael with complicated expressions.

Samael's method for Leviathan entailed resorting to three tactics—crying, making a fuss, and acting spoiled. For Beelzebub, the method was engaging Lucifer in conversations, playing chess, and reading books to keep him entertained. As for Samael himself, he used official business matters to occupy Lucifer's time. Upon closer inspection, it seemed as if Lucifer hadn't dealt with official matters for quite some time.

Where had the diligent King gone to?

Samael secretly made a resolution to ensure that His Majesty understood their "hard work."

With a collective strike among the subordinates, Satan's palace was piled up with long-delayed official business. Seeing the urgent situation, the fallen angel attendants went to notify His Majesty immediately.

Just as Lucifer was about to leave: "..."

Alright, Hell is more important.

Back to his old duties, Satan plunged into the tedious routine of reviewing official business. Whenever he had some free time, it was occupied by Leviathan and Belial.

-----

After several attempts to whittle down the workload, three years had passed in Hell.

During this time, Lucifer became increasingly sinister, venting all his frustration on demons and fallen angels.

Hell was filled with cries of agony.

Despite the immense pressure from their siblings, the Seven Sins secretly searched for the unknown lover for three years, but to no avail. All they knew was that His Majesty had claimed a piece of land in the mortal realm, where he had set up a meeting place. That place was hidden by Lucifer with a barrier. Aside from him and the designated person, no one else could enter.

Finally, under Lucifer's semi-smiling gaze, the Seven Sins wilted.

Lucifer leisurely commented, "Having fun?"

Samael stepped back, lowering his head, and decisively hid behind Beelzebub's shadow. Beelzebub, standing at the forefront, managed to force a smile.

-----

Just as Satan was dealing with these insubordinate underlings, in Heaven, at the academy of the Eighth Celestial Layer, Michael, bearing the rank of archangel, headed towards the third floor of the academy library. That floor housed books collected by Heaven for hundreds of thousands of years.

Arriving at a familiar spot, Michael glanced around for a moment. Once he set up a barrier with excellent concealment, he reached out with a cheerful smile and took a little-known yellow book from the shelf, known to very few angels.

Michael habitually sat in a corner, propping up his head as he began reading.

It felt like the old days—when he was still the deputy to the Archangel. To avoid getting caught by Lucifer, he had to shrink into a corner to read.

The library was huge, containing books written by beings from all three realms. There were always a few that slipped through the net, surviving countless inspection operations. By chance, these books were deliberately overlooked by a few unscrupulous archangels. The only angel who might confiscate such books, Metatron, having failed to understand their deeper meanings, simply dismissed them.

Sighing at the past, Michael happily continued to read. Gabriel had borrowed the book last time.

Hmm, the angel who edited this book seems promising.

Next time, if they're caught, try to give a lighter sentence. It's not easy for a high-ranking angel to emerge in heaven who dares to write adult novels. And, with such subtle and artistic writing, laypersons can't understand it at all.

Michael, full of joy, seemed to have forgotten the possibility of delight arising from sorrow.

Suddenly, his hands holding the book stiffened, and his expression turned to horror. He felt someone's thoughts descending into his body from a distant location. His eyes, blazing like fire, froze, and a faint golden hue emanated from the depths, spreading like divine manifestation and radiance emerging.

Help me!

Michael's inner voice screamed uncontrollably!

Divine descent. (Note: Basically, this means that God is taking over Michael's consciousness in Michael's body)

Golden eyes replaced their original color. "Michael" looked down at the book in his hands, a hint of confusion in his eyes.

What is this?

After casually flipping through the pages, God put the book aside and walked towards the shelf containing the book he needed.

He found quite a few books on how to mend relationships, but their content was more or less the same, emphasizing honesty and avoiding deceit. However, God knew that this was impossible. The root of deceit is the truth, and he couldn't – nor did he want to – speak the truth.

As God walked through the long library aisles, it was as if he were strolling through the gaps of time.

Wherever his gaze swept, the contents of the books were imprinted in his mind. At an incredibly fast speed, God filled in the gaps of his interpersonal skills—the theoretical version.

Lucifer had not come to see him.

He had to find a way to get Lucifer out, instead of letting him stay in hell and forget him.

-----

A month later.

"Your Majesty, please take care."

Satan, who handled official duties at a flying pace, walked leisurely in the direction of hell's gate, under the gaze of his subordinates filled with tears and pain.

The scenery of the mortal world is more suitable for relaxing the mind than hell.

During the three years, Lucifer had an enjoyable time, almost forgetting Yahweh, just as Samael had foreseen. The so-called love at first sight and the infatuation upon the second, too, have a time limit. But just as he stepped out of the Gates of Hell, he received a message from the mortal world: Yahweh had been waiting for him in the small grove for over a month.

With a start, Lucifer remembered Yahweh's golden eyes staring at him.

Pure and dazzling.

Just like a cloud unpolluted by dust, or the utmost light in the world.

Lucifer's steps curved, heading to the rendezvous spot in the mortal world. For some unknown reason, his heart began to heat up.
