Immortal Koi Is Going To Debut - Chapter 67

Chapter 67: Consideration

Just as An Zhiyan arrived at the training camp, he saw An Zhihan squatting at the entrance waiting for him.

"Aren't you supposed to be training?" An Zhiyan asked casually as he kept walking.

"Oh, heavens! The common people have been wronged!" An Zhihan unexpectedly shouted exaggeratedly. Then, he scrambled over to An Zhiyan's side.

An Zhiyan stopped, looked around, and seeing the surprised looks of others, he coughed slightly to cover his embarrassment. Then he grabbed An Zhihan by the collar and took him to his own resting room.

As soon as they entered, An Zhihan started fake crying, pointing towards his face, which had already stopped swelling but was a little bruised, and said, "Look, Su Jinli hit me."

An Zhiyan, after examining it himself, was assured that makeup could cover it up, and so he nodded.

Next, An Zhihan lifted up his shirt to show the bruise on his body, "Su Jinli did this too."

"Hmm."

"He laughed at me when I fell down this morning!" He added as his third accusation.

"Hmm."

Seeing An Zhiyan enter, take off his coat, and set down his bag, Jiang Pingqiu busied himself with tidying things up.

So, he began to bawl around the room again: "I got hit!"

Both ignored him.

An Zhihan began rolling on the floor.

"Get up,” An Zhiyan growled immediately. “How old are you to act like this?"

"I got beaten up, and my roommate doesn't help me, my own brother doesn't care."

"Did you apologize?"

"Apologize?! This is Su Jinli's problem."

"Alright, call Su Jinli then."

An Zhihan was immediately pleased and waved to Jiang Pingqiu: "Brother Jiang, you go."

Jiang Pingqiu nodded, exited the room to find Su Jinli.

An Zhihan wanted to stay in the room to watch An Zhiyan deal with Su Jinli, but An Zhiyan chased him out: "You leave too, I want to talk to him alone."

"Oh... You don't have to save my face, punish him harshly."

An Zhihan had not been gone for long before Su Jinli arrived. He stood at the doorway without a word.

He knew that An Zhihan must have complained, as An Zhihan had previously boasted to him: "My brother is coming, you just wait!"

So Su Jinli waited and stood by the door, maintaining his last stubborn stance.

Upon seeing Su Jinli, An Zhiyan immediately walked over and asked: "Which hand did you use to hit An Zhihan?"

Su Jinli obediently raised his right hand, displaying a brave demeanor, as if a warrior going to battle never to return.

An Zhiyan gripped Su Jinli's hand, rubbing it, asking: "Does it hurt? An Zhihan's bones are pretty hard; it must have been painful to hit him, right?"

Su Jinli didn't expect An Zhiyan to ask this and looked at him in surprise.

An Zhiyan, while holding Su Jinli's hand, led him inside and had him sit on the sofa. He then sat on the coffee table and continued rubbing Su Jinli's hand while asking, "Did An Zhihan fight back? Did he hurt you?"

"Well, not really, my hand doesn't hurt anymore."

"Next time you're angry at him, you don't need to take matters into your own hands. Just tell me, and I'll beat him up for you."

"Oh, I would feel so embarrassed…"

"What's there to feel embarrassed about? If you're still not appeased, I'll do it again."

"I'm not as angry as I was before. At that moment, I was really infuriated by his tone, acting on impulse," Su Jinli voluntarily softened his attitude.

If An Zhiyan started blaming him as soon as he walked in, he might resist. But with An Zhiyan behaving this way, he was kind of overwhelmed.

An Zhiyan released Su Jinli's hand and pulled him into a hug, letting him lean against his chest. He gently patted his back and said, "I'm sorry, it's my fault for not teaching my brother well. It's wrong for you to be upset. Let it go."

"It's not really your fault…" Su Jinli leaned against An Zhiyan's chest, speaking in a pitiful tone.

A hug indeed has a healing effect.

With An Zhiyan's soft voice adding to it, the effect was magnified.

"It's my mistake. I spoiled him. He also explained it to me." An Zhiyan relayed to Su Jinli what An Zhihan had explained to him.

Surprised, Su Jinli pulled away from An Zhiyan's hug and asked, "Really?"

"That's what he told me."

Feeling guilty, Su Jinli said, "On second thought, I did act impulsively. I should go and apologize to An Zhihan."

"No need, he's the one who shot his mouth off. It's not your fault."

Su Jinli pressed his lips together and lowered his eyes. His feelings were somewhat complicated.

An Zhiyan gently squeezed Su Jinli's face and said, "It's fine, don't worry. I'll talk to him later. Just don't blame yourself."

"Alright."

"But…" An Zhiyan changed the topic and asked, "Do you like Xiao Mi?"

"Ah?"

"An Zhihan told me."

"When I first came down from the mountain, I didn't understand anything. Both Yura and Xiao Mi helped me. They were willing to help a stranger like me whom they met by chance. I'm really grateful to them and have always considered them as friends, so I care about them. Zhihan is... quite fickle and doesn't show much respect when he speaks. That's why... I got angry, but I don't like her."

"I thought you liked her, and I've been jealous for several days. My mouth tasted sour every day; it was really uncomfortable." An Zhiyan sighed, looking quite pitiful.

"Do you mean eating actual vinegar or feeling jealous in the figurative sense?"

"The latter."

"Does jealousy really give a sour taste in the mouth?"

"Yes, there's a sour taste in my mouth right now. Don't you believe me? You can taste it."

Su Jinli was really curious, so he went ahead and tasted it.

An Zhiyan didn't expect Su Jinli would really try it. After a moment of shock, he reacted quickly.

As expected, Su Jinli was held by the back of his head and kissed by An Zhiyan for a while before he pushed him away, asking, "There's no sour taste."

"Maybe it turned sweet because you kissed me?"

"But it's not sweet either."

"Want to try again?"

Su Jinli held off An Zhiyan's approaching lips and suddenly asked, "Did you trick me?!"

"Not at all!"

"You... you took advantage of me! I got so scared; I thought I hadn't fully evolved into a human and couldn't produce sour tastes in my mouth!"

"It was always you who initiated it, wasn't it? How could it be me taking advantage of you?"

Su Jinli thought about it and realized that was true; he didn't have anything to say.

An Zhiyan licked his lips, his eyes slightly narrowed, and his gaze filled with satisfaction. It made Su Jinli's heart race for a moment.

An Zhiyan didn't let him go, propping his hands on either side of Su Jinli's body and getting closer, saying, "I missed you."

"Oh..."

"I've been thinking about you these days. Whenever my mind is at work, I'm thinking about you. I can even dream of you."

"Can you stop talking, please?"

"Why?"

"You make me feel like a weasel wanting to steal a small fish..."

An Zhiyan was not relentlessly pressuring him. He quickly sat back and began to speak, "I heard that you had a fight with An Zhihan. It surprised me; I thought he was bullying you. After he told me it was you who hit him, I calmed down."

"Shouldn’t you worry about your younger brother?"

"He had enough energy to call me and his voice was full of righteous anger, what should I worry about?" As An Zhiyan spoke, he took out several boxes from his side, "I brought you some delicious food. Try it."

Su Jinli's eyes lit up instantly. He pounced towards the food and exclaimed loudly, "Xiao Jingzhi, you are such a good person!"

"Now the nickname 'Xiao Jingzhi' is universally used online."

"I didn't mean to."

"It doesn't matter, after all, your future nickname for me will be unique, the kind that I have exclusively."

Su Jinli had no time to care about what An Zhiyan said; he began eating immediately.

"Actually, I've thought about it seriously. Your affection for me might be because I have a heavy Yin energy, and the scent it produces misleads you into liking me. Just like how you have a strong Yang energy, and others like you because of it." Su Jinli continued to eat with relish as he spoke.

"I understand these things. They only go crazy when they see me in person. When they can't see me, there's no problem at all. But I'm different with you. I miss you terribly even when I can't see you. Even if I were to see you as a fish, with a fishy smell, I could still like you. Do you think it's because of what you said?"

Su Jinli thought about it. Yeah, it makes sense!

"Do you like eating fish, so you like me?" Su Jinli asked again.

"No, for you, I can go without eating fish for the rest of my life, even any seafood."

"But... wouldn't you crave it?"

"You are more important."

Su Jinli is a foodie. For a normal person, promising never to eat seafood again is definitely a heavyweight confession.

While eating his pizza and looking at An Zhiyan, he thought about it and then said, "I... I'm not sure I can be with you. I have to ask my brother."

Hearing this, An Zhiyan's face lit up with joy. This indicated that Su Jinli was considering it, and it made him incredibly happy.

However, he was unsure if Su Jinli's brother could accept homosexuality, which made him a bit nervous.

"We can be together first and then face your brother together," An Zhiyan suggested.

"No, I listen to my brother."

"Well... I'll try to make your brother accept me."

"Don't worry, my brother is a good person."

An Zhiyan still had confidence. He felt he could use his masculine aura to sway Su Jinli's brother. It's not a problem at all.
