Applaud for Happiness - Chapter 71

Chapter 71

Shen Qi and Dragon Chi had a fulfilling night. It brought them both joy and knowledge.

Shen Qi taught with enthusiasm, and Dragon Chi was a diligent student. Both teacher and student enjoyed themselves.

Perhaps the short knife had indeed worked, or maybe Dragon Chi simply trusted Shen Qi completely. He followed every instruction, never standing when he should be lying down, moving when instructed, and stopping when told. Except for that one moment of excitement when he pinched Shen Qi’s waist a little too hard, nothing inappropriate happened.

Fortunately, the first time was very fast for the virgin. Even though the two combined didn’t exceed an hour, despite feeling energetic and wanting to go for a second round, Shen Qi decisively rejected it. What a joke, if this started, would he ever have peaceful days again?

Of course, it wasn’t all bad. At least it was enjoyable, and they took turns. Well, there was a certain thrill to it. Plus, with the items the butler generously provided, Shen Qi used them on Dragon Chi one by one, creating a unique experience.

Finally, Shen Qi put away these items and locked them in a cabinet. What if he taught his disciple these things? How would the master survive? Such things must be strictly avoided. Since Dragon Chi bought them, they could only be used on him.

More importantly, Dragon Chi’s happiness value skyrocketed at this moment, jumping from fifteen points to eighty points. Shen Qi marveled at it, realizing that, indeed, in Dragon Chi’s eyes, mating was the main event.

Thinking back, the first time it stood up, the happiness value increased by fifty points. Although it quickly dropped after a setback, this time it probably won’t decrease at all.

Shen Qi was happy, but Dragon Chi was so horny that it was hard to calm down. How could a three-hundred-year-old virgin indulge just once? Once was definitely not enough, but Shen Qi was unwilling. He didn’t dare to force it, so he could only lie there, eyes closed, and try to fall asleep.

“I can’t sleep.” Tossing and turning for half an hour, he felt no drowsiness at all. Unable to resist, he extended his dragon claw toward Shen Qi. “Qi, I can’t sleep.”

Shen Qi thought he would be exhausted, after all, this was his first time in this body. But despite the difficulties, he felt even more energetic. He didn’t even feel sleepy. If he were asked to get up and run ten thousand meters outside right now, he probably wouldn’t have any problem.

He seriously suspected that it was the accumulation of things from Dragon Chi that made the difference. What were they called? Dragon essence? Dragon saliva? Whatever it was, anything produced by a dragon seemed to be top-notch. He didn’t feel uncomfortable at all. On the contrary, he had a feeling that he could go another three hundred rounds.

Looking at it this way, the two “little dragons” setting didn’t seem unreasonable. Could it really work twice without any issues?

Shen Qi couldn’t help but fall into deep thought. He didn’t hear Dragon Chi’s murmurs until he felt something touching his waist, gradually moving downward.

Smack!

He precisely slapped down on the misbehaving dragon claw, scolding with his eyes closed, “Go to sleep!”

Dragon Chi wriggled like a caterpillar, nudging closer to him. His head rested on Shen Qi’s shoulder, chin brushing against his shoulder blade. The hot breath played on Shen Qi’s neck: “Ah Qi, Ah Qi, I’m uncomfortable, I can’t sleep…”

“Ah Qi, I can’t sleep…” He didn’t mind being pushed away by Shen Qi, persistently snuggling closer.

“Ugh!” Shen Qi hadn’t expected Dragon Chi to be so bold. He had been obedient all along, after all.

In the darkness, Dragon Chi’s pair of dark red eyes gleamed astonishingly. Seizing the opportunity, he hugged Shen Qi, licking his cheeks like an affectionate puppy—from his eyes to the corners of his mouth, leaving Shen Qi’s face covered in saliva. Panting, Dragon Chi whined, “I feel so uncomfortable, Ah Qi. I really like you…”

With that, he captured Shen Qi’s lips, kissing him with puppy-like enthusiasm, and then followed Shen Qi’s lead, deepening the kiss.

Couldn't he get up first before saying this? It’s too heavy!

Shen Qi gritted his teeth, but couldn’t suppress the rapidly rising heat.

This wasn’t normal, he thought groggily. There was no reason why he couldn’t hold out after just a couple of touches from a beginner. Something was definitely wrong — Dragon Chi’s “equipment” must be the culprit!

Dragons and snakes are too similar, both with two sets of privates. The snake's promiscuous nature may have been adapted as well.

Damn it!

He had calculated everything, but unexpectedly, there was still this twist. Caught off guard, he fell victim to it.

“Ah Qi, I…” Dragon Chi’s expression was off, and his tone was suppressed, tinged with restlessness.

Suddenly alert, Shen Qi turned his head to look. Sure enough, Dragon Chi’s human form was unstable, and his shrunken dragon shape flickered in and out.

“You dare!” Gritting his teeth, Shen Qi reached for the short knife on the bedside table.

“I…” Dragon Chi was frightened, desperately suppressing his transformation. But it was too late. With a howl, he reverted to his dragon form—fortunately, smaller than his original size, similar to his human form. The scorching flames threatened to burst forth, but he managed to hold them back.

Shen Qi shouted, brandishing the knife and lunging at Dragon Chi. Startled, Dragon Chi stumbled backward, reverting to his human form upon hitting the floor.

Furious, Shen Qi raised the knife, aiming for Dragon Chi’s lower body. How dare he attack him in his true form!

Dragon Chi howled, covering himself, and swiftly fled the bedroom.

Shen Qi’s forehead twitched sharply.

He had a premonition that the days ahead might not be peaceful.

The anger he had just vented had extinguished any remaining pleasure. Frowning, he headed to the bathroom to clean up. Since he was unable to sleep, he decided to take a bath. This time, when he went out to sea, he even brought along an entire set of alchemical bath supplies.

It seemed his guess was correct — whatever that thing was, it was definitely extraordinary. Despite the exertion last night, he hadn’t sustained any injuries. There were no bruises, only a bite mark on the back of his neck. Dragon Chi was, after all, a dragon, and some primal instincts remained. He seemed to enjoy approaching from behind, especially biting Shen Qi’s neck, leaving several painful marks.

Thankfully, Dragon Chi exercised restraint and didn’t transform back into his original size. If he had, Shen Qi would likely have been in serious trouble.

Calculating it, based on Dragon Chi’s original proportions, that thing was probably almost as big as Shen Qi himself. The thought sent a shiver down his spine.

But what surprised him was that the dragon-shaped thing was warm. Although not scalding, it was noticeably hot. Was it because Dragon Chi was a fire dragon? What if he were an ice dragon? Would it be cold?

Shen Qi found himself immersed in the exploration of these mystical creatures.

Feeling that he might have angered Shen Qi, Dragon Chi observed him cautiously the next day. He obediently followed Shen Qi’s instructions to modify the cave. After all, Shen Qi was human, not a dragon. Unlike Dragon Chi, who could make do with any cave, Shen Qi deserved a comfortable living space.

So, they embarked on five consecutive days of renovations. First, they expanded the bedroom and kitchen, adding all the necessary furniture. They even polished the floors and ceilings to a smooth finish.

Previously, Dragon Chi had stayed by Shen Qi’s side during the day and submerged himself in the sea at night — even when they were on land. But now that the taboo was lifted, he wanted to live with Shen Qi.

Shen Qi didn’t refuse; after all, they were destined to be together. Why waste energy building another room?

With Dragon Chi moving in, the original bedroom needed to be enlarged. It had to accommodate at least half of Dragon Chi’s dragon form. So, they tidied up the entire room, which was now as spacious as half a football field. Shen Qi experienced waking up in a bed that covered an area of fifty thousand square meters — though the bed wasn’t actually that large, the room certainly was.

They had already tested the new bed on the day it arrived. It held up well under the weight of both of them, even when Dragon Chi transformed back into his original shape. Clearly, magical craftsmanship was extraordinary.

Dragon Chi was excited about living with Shen Qi. He eagerly took charge of renovating the bedroom. Shen Qi remembered Dragon Chi’s extravagant taste and promptly declined. Jokingly, he thought that if Dragon Chi got involved, the room might end up entirely in gold.

However, despite all precautions, Shen Qi couldn’t prevent it. When he woke up after a night’s sleep, the bedroom floor had turned into a dazzling expanse of gold. Massive gold bricks covered the entire floor. Dragon Chi, now in his shrunken dragon form, rolled around on the golden surface. Upon seeing Shen Qi awake, he proudly presented his treasure: “Look, it’s gold bricks! Aren’t they beautiful?”

Shen Qi was speechless.

What could he say? Thankfully, Dragon Chi hadn’t turned the walls and ceiling into gold too.

Dragon Chi had a strong territorial sense. He seemed to consider the bedroom his own domain. Without hesitation, he piled heaps of gold coins in the corners as decoration. Knowing that Shen Qi disliked it, Dragon Chi secretly added more coins bit by bit. By the time Shen Qi noticed, the coins had formed a small mountain.

Shen Qi sighed but didn’t stop him. Dragon Chi’s love for gold and treasure was a typical dragon trait. Shen Qi couldn’t force him to change, nor did he need to.

They expanded the bedroom and also renovated the kitchen and bathroom. These two areas were crucial—more important than the bedroom. Shen Qi opted for a modern style, ensuring that the kitchen and bathroom matched. He even brought back glass windows. The kitchen, in particular, had been hollowed out and enclosed with glass windows. With Dragon Chi around, there was no need to worry about small animals causing damage.

The bathroom, however, remained private and wasn’t made of glass. An magical bath suite was installed, similar to modern facilities, and magically treated to handle wastewater directly.

After all the renovations were complete, from the outside, it looked like a retro villa built halfway up the mountain—a unique find across the entire continent.

In addition to the house, Shen Qi instructed Dragon Chi to clear the trees next to the cave, remove the weeds, and mark out an area of land. They planned to grow some food there. They also designated another piece of land close to the cliff for future animal pens. The island’s wildlife wasn’t infinite, and they couldn’t exploit it without considering the long term.

Their living standards instantly improved. Shen Qi lazily reclined on a lounge chair, sipping pure, natural fruit juice while watching the sunset. His mood was completely at ease.

Even when Dragon Chi dropped a pile of prey from the sky, creating a cloud of dust upon impact, Shen Qi remained unfazed. Grinning, Shen Qi asked, “Back already?”

Seeing Shen Qi finally smile, Dragon Chi’s eyes lit up. He transformed back into his human form and happily ran over to him. “Shen Qi, you’re not angry anymore?”

“Hmm,” Shen Qi replied, sipping his juice. “As long as you behave and don’t annoy me, I won’t be angry.”

“Great!” Dragon Chi’s eyes sparkled. He pounced on Shen Qi, wrapping his arms around his waist. Their faces brushed against each other, and below, two rapidly swelling appendages rubbed against Shen Qi’s abdomen. “Shall we mate now?”

Shen Qi snapped the plant-made straw in half. What kind of dragon was Dragon Chi? More like a lustful dragon! Did his brain only think about eating and mating?

No, he needed to find something to do. This world wouldn’t end for at least seventy or eighty years. Could he spend the rest of his days just eating and mating?

Absolutely not! Shen Qi hummed contentedly while lying on the bed. He needed to cultivate a hobby for Dragon Chi, make him understand the greatness of dreams!

Lost in thought, Shen Qi was interrupted by a visitor on the island — no, a guest dragon.
