Chapter 75

Cheng Xuyuan was somewhat flustered by Gu Juncheng’s voice. He didn’t realize that a person could embody the word “sexy” so thoroughly just through their voice.

“Go… to your house?” Cheng Xuyuan came back to his senses from his voice, looking at him incredulously, “Isn’t that inappropriate?”

“What’s inappropriate about it?” Gu Juncheng blinked at him, “You don’t think I would do something to you, do you? Little Junior Cheng, when did you become so timid?”

Cheng Xuyuan’s eyebrows furrowed slightly, he retorted defiantly, “Fine, let’s go. What can you do to me? Believe it or not, I’ll tear your house down from the inside out.”

Gu Juncheng naturally hooked his arm around his shoulder, saying with a smile yet not a smile, “That definitely can’t happen. You’re a guest, I will certainly treat you well.”

Gu Juncheng’s rented house is in a community near the school. The rent is not cheap, but he earns a lot from his weekend part-time job. His scholarship is also generous enough to make people envious, so he didn’t look for someone to share the rent.

When the two of them arrived at the community by bus, Qi Zimo sent a message to Cheng Xuyuan, “Not coming back?”

Cheng Xuyuan replied to him, “Hmm.”

Qi Zimo responded instantly, “Impressive, you’ve hit a home run so quickly.”

“What are you talking about?!” Cheng Xuyuan wanted to pull this kid out and give him a beating, “I just watched a movie too late!”

“No need to say more, wish you happiness.”

Cheng Xuyuan simply switched his phone to airplane mode to avoid getting annoyed.

There was a milk tea shop downstairs in the community. Gu Juncheng took him in on the way and bought the last two cups of milk tea before closing time.

Cheng Xuyuan touched his stomach and hesitated as he looked at the milk tea. He usually has a habit of running at night, but today he not only didn’t run, but also ate so much. He was afraid he might gain a few pounds…

“What’s wrong?” Gu Juncheng glanced at him, “Afraid of gaining weight?”

Cheng Xuyuan nodded.

“When did you start caring so much about your image?” Gu Juncheng casually asked.

Cheng Xuyuan, too lazy to look at him, feigned indifference and said, “I don’t care about my image. I’m just worried that your old car won’t be able to carry me if I gain weight!”

Gu Juncheng laughed, almost choking. After laughing for a while, he looked at Cheng Xuyuan and said, “If you get fat, you get fat. If the tires burst, I’ll take responsibility.”

Cheng Xuyuan was also amused and started drinking his milk tea, “Idiot, I’ll run an extra ten laps tomorrow and burn it off.”

“Do you think you’ve gained weight recently?” Gu Juncheng suddenly looked at his face very seriously.

Cheng Xuyuan was taken aback and then answered, “It seems like I have gained weight…”

“That’s because…” Gu Juncheng stared straight at him, “Your weight in my heart has become heavier.”

“Pfft–”

Cheng Xuyuan spat out a mouthful of milk tea, catching Gu Juncheng off guard and spraying his face.

“You…” Cheng Xuyuan looked at him innocently, “Don’t suddenly say such cheesy lines to me… I’m sorry, it’s really too cheesy…”

Gu Juncheng, with a face of despair, took out a tissue to wipe his face, saying as he wiped, “Others want to hear it, but I don’t want to say it…”

Cheng Xuyuan also picked up a piece of paper, reached out to help him wipe the places he hadn’t wiped clean, and laughed helplessly, “Alright, alright, go ahead, cheesy daddy Gu Juncheng.”

Suddenly, Gu Juncheng grabbed his hand.

Under the streetlight, the shadows of the two young men were cast long and slender.

“Gu Juncheng…” Cheng Xuyuan suddenly said to him, “There’s something on your face.”

Gu Juncheng subconsciously reached out to touch his face, but he didn’t feel anything. He asked him in confusion, “What’s there?”

Cheng Xuyuan tiptoed up to his ear and whispered, “It’s a bit handsome.”

Gu Juncheng’s mouth twitched at first, then seeing the young man laughing wildly in front of him, he couldn’t help but smile too. He took his hand and walked towards the apartment, saying as they walked, “If you have any more sweet words, we can talk about them at my place.”

Cheng Xuyuan’s hand, held by him, trembled slightly, and he couldn’t laugh anymore.

He was thinking to himself, if Gu Juncheng really did something to him, he would…

Just as Cheng Xuyuan was lost in thought, the elevator arrived at the 20th floor. Gu Juncheng led him to a room with a Japanese-style curtain hanging at the entrance. On the curtain was a little deer raising its head in front of the morning sun, its eyes clear and gentle.

Cheng Xuyuan couldn’t help but say, “This little deer is so beautiful.”

Gu Juncheng opened the door, and a fresh fragrance came rushing out. He turned back to look at the young man, smiled, and said, “Yes, it’s beautiful.”

The furnishings in the room took Cheng Xuyuan by surprise.

The interior was not large, consisting of a living room, a bedroom, and a separate bathroom. However, all the furniture was minimalist in Nordic style, with a clever combination of black, white, and gray.

Upon turning on the cool white chandelier, one could see a large bed in the bedroom. A few thick novels were placed on the shelves on the wall, and the surroundings were clean, unlike a typical boy’s room.

The bed faced a floor-to-ceiling window, offering a bird’s-eye view of the entire university.

In front of the window was a foldable white wooden table. Gu Juncheng opened it, placed two cups of milk tea on it, and then said to Cheng Xuyuan, “You go take a shower first. You can wear my pajamas.”

“Uh…” Cheng Xuyuan hesitated for a moment and asked, “But I don’t have any underwear. What should I do?”

Gu Juncheng obviously hadn’t thought about this problem. He stared blankly at Cheng Xuyuan. After a minute, he slowly said, “Then… how about wearing mine?”

After saying this, seemingly afraid that the situation would become too awkward, Gu Juncheng didn’t wait for his answer. He went straight to the wardrobe and started rummaging. Finally, he took out a clean pair of black underwear and handed it to Cheng Xuyuan.

Cheng Xuyuan was in a dilemma, not knowing whether to accept it or not. It wasn’t until Gu Juncheng urged him that he slowly reached out to take it.

“Have you worn it?” Cheng Xuyuan asked hesitantly.

“Nonsense, why would I buy it if I didn’t wear it?” Gu Juncheng rolled his eyes, “Don’t worry, it’s clean. Go take a shower.”

Cheng Xuyuan still stood in place, unwilling to move.

Gu Juncheng looked at him in confusion. Suddenly, as if understanding something, he asked with a suppressed laugh, “Is it too big for you?”

Cheng Xuyuan’s face turned red. Feeling his pride had been insulted, he clenched the underwear in his hand and said to Gu Juncheng through gritted teeth, “What does it matter if it's big or not, I'm still wearing this.”

“Then you should go take a shower,” Gu Juncheng said, holding back his laughter. As soon as the other person entered the bathroom, he burst out laughing, so hard that the glass started to vibrate.

Cheng Xuyuan turned on the shower head loudly to cover up his annoying laughter. After absentmindedly taking a shower, he picked up Gu Juncheng's underwear and compared them...

It does seem to be one size larger.

Cheng Xuyuan put on his underwear calmly and walked out of the bathroom with an indifferent expression.

Gu Juncheng's eyes stayed on the lines of his body, and his eyes became hot for a moment. He suppressed a certain impulse and handed him a set of pajamas without saying a word.

Cheng Xuyuan quickly put it on. The pajamas were one size too big, making him look unexpectedly cute for a man who was 1.8 meters tall.

Gu Juncheng looked away in panic, held a set of clothes in front of him, and hurriedly walked into the bathroom.

He had already been mentally prepared, but when he saw Cheng Xuyuan's fair and tight body, he still inevitably had a reaction. He washed himself with cold water for a long time before he could "calm down".

However, when Gu Juncheng just came out of the bathroom, he saw Cheng Xuyuan with his back to him, lying on the bed playing with his mobile phone, his two white feet raised high, shaking non-stop.

Gu Juncheng said in a hoarse voice: “Go to bed early and stop playing with your phone.”

Cheng Xuyuan didn't realize at all how provocative his posture was, and responded absently: “Well...”

At this moment, it was already midnight.

Gu Juncheng turned off the room’s main light and switched on the bedside lamp. The dim yellow light cast an ambiguous glow. Cheng Xuyuan glanced back at him and whispered, “Do you want to sleep together?”

In the subdued light, Gu Juncheng’s Adam’s apple bobbed slightly. He softly replied, “Mmm,” then sat down on the edge of the bed, saying to Cheng Xuyuan, “You take the inside.”

Cheng Xuyuan obediently pulled back the covers and settled in. Gu Juncheng turned off the bedside lamp. In the darkness, they couldn’t see each other’s expressions, only the rhythmic sound of their breathing.

The freshly washed sheets carried a faint fragrance, mingled with Gu Juncheng’s scent and a hint of tobacco.

Suddenly, Cheng Xuyuan felt a bit warm.

Gu Juncheng appeared calm, lying on his side with closed eyes. He faced Cheng Xuyuan but remained at a slight distance, seemingly drifting off to sleep.

Quietly, Cheng Xuyuan shifted a little closer toward him.

Gu Juncheng didn’t react.

Cheng Xuyuan moved a bit more.

Gu Juncheng still kept his eyes shut.

Cheng Xuyuan inched even closer, until they were near enough to feel each other’s breath.

Gu Juncheng suddenly opened his eyes. He reached out and grabbed Cheng Xuyuan’s arm, his voice hoarse as he said, “Be a good boy and go to sleep. Don’t provoke me.”

Cheng Xuyuan stared at his eyes, sensing a hint of restraint and patience even in the darkness.

Feeling a bit fearful, Cheng Xuyuan shifted back slightly.

“Don’t worry,” Gu Juncheng closed his eyes, turned away, and said, “Until we’ve confirmed our relationship, I won’t do anything to you.”

Cheng Xuyuan blinked and used his finger to write a few words on Gu Juncheng’s back.

Gu Juncheng couldn’t decipher what he had written, so he asked, “What did you write?”

Tang Sanzang,” Cheng Xuyuan replied.

Cheng Xuyuan couldn’t help but laugh softly. His laughter sounded playful and teasing in the nighttime room. Gu Juncheng resisted the urge to pin him down and said coldly, “Go to sleep.”

Cheng Xuyuan responded with an “Oh.” But soon enough, he became restless again.

“Gu Juncheng, do you always live alone?” Cheng Xuyuan suddenly asked.

Gu Juncheng softly replied, “Yes, I’ve never brought anyone home.”

Cheng Xuyuan continued, “Isn’t it lonely living alone?”

“What are you trying to say?” Gu Juncheng opened his eyes, still listening to the little guy behind him.

Cheng Xuyuan said, “I used to live alone too. I always wanted to have a cat, to live with someone I liked, watching the cat grow day by day, year after year…”

Gu Juncheng remained silent.

Cheng Xuyuan glanced at his back and whispered, “Are you asleep?”

Then, he leaned closer to Gu Juncheng’s neck and softly said in his ear, “Goodnight…”

But in the next second, Gu Juncheng suddenly rolled over.

The sudden movement caused Gu Juncheng’s lips to brush against Cheng Xuyuan’s cheek.

Both of them froze.

Before Cheng Xuyuan could react, Gu Juncheng had already pressed down on him, punishingly bearing his weight. His hands were on either side of Cheng Xuyuan’s ears, and his eyes blazed with intensity.

“I told you to sleep properly. Why are you so disobedient?” Gu Juncheng leaned close to Cheng Xuyuan’s ear, his voice carrying an imperceptible playfulness. "Hmm?"
