The Entirety Of Hell Knows That Satan Has A Lover - Chapter 4

If Hell is too dark and gloomy, then the mortal world - one of the three realms - seems overly bright in the eyes of Lucifer. Here, there's no sense of restraint like that of Heaven, and there is no pressure of the survival of the fittest like in Hell. Even the weakest mortals can live easily and comfortably.

After spending tens of thousands of years in Hell, Lucifer was somewhat dazed when he saw the sun.

There is no sun in Hell.

The blood moon that rises at night has no warmth, and the moonlight that shines on the body is always accompanied by a bleak chill.

Hell relies solely on the little light that comes from the blessings of Heaven to prevent it from plunging into complete darkness.

"Let's create a sun next time," Lucifer said as he stretched out his hand. The sunlight turned into fragments and condensed in the palm of his hand, giving off a warm and comforting sensation. Suddenly, he felt a desire for change in his heart. As the ruler of Hell, he shouldn't let his own pessimistic emotions affect the realm. After all, there were so many demons and fallen angels waiting for him to overthrow Heaven.

Or perhaps he should just steal the sun from the mortal world and bring it to Hell?

Lucifer's mind flashed with this dangerous idea, but he quickly set it aside and happily went to find the archangel he wanted to meet.

He understood angels extremely well. No matter how high their rank or how rich their inheritance memories, there was one flaw that could never be erased - naivety. It was easy for him to manipulate a wise angel, but inciting an archangel was something he had never tried before.

'If God were to discover that his newly created archangel had turned towards Hell, would he be angry?' Lucifer thought maliciously.

There are many famous scenic spots in the mortal world, such as the territories of the Dragon and Elf tribes. Although outsiders are forbidden to enter, the scenery inside is beyond words. However, in his perception, that glimmer of light did not go towards the central area or the east of the mortal continent, but towards the underdeveloped west.

So based on his intuition, Lucifer walked towards the west.

Strolling leisurely down the road, his appearance - black hair and clothes - scared many mortal creatures who passed by.

"Evil- evil demon!"

Although they spoke words of fear, their eyes shone with fascination.

They forgot to run away.

They forgot to attack, or perhaps they were too scared to attack.

Lucifer refused to be labeled as a demon, although he could accept being called a fallen angel. The term "demon" encompasses too many lowly beings, and mortal creatures have a limited understanding of demons, only recognizing their association with darkness.

In the corners of the mortal world, there were occasionally a few creatures who were not within the scope of stupidity.

However, their words, spoken instinctively, sounded even more foolish to Lucifer's ears.

"Your Highness..."

"Your Highness, Lucifer."

Excitement, choked-up emotions, overwhelming joy.

Lucifer didn't pause for them, those were just things he had abandoned.

The current Archangel is Michael, formerly his deputy and one of the three remaining Archangels since the creation celebration in Heaven. Metatron, previously nicknamed "Prime Minister of Heaven," has now become the official Prime Minister, and Archangel Gabriel's status has also risen. They all seem to be doing well.

Lucifer went over the information about the high ranks of Heaven once again, confirming that the Archangel ahead was someone he didn't recognize.

Just another kilometer to go.

A natural tenderness appeared on his cold face, masked by a false facade.

Just a hundred meters to go.

Brushing aside the branches blocking his line of sight, Lucifer stepped on dried leaves, without deliberately controlling his strength, creating a pleasant rustling sound.

It made him feel like he was actually taking a leisurely stroll.

And indeed, that was the case.

Fifty meters.

The white figure with its back turned to him was now visible, just as the Gates of Hell had described – the clothes were well-made.

-----

Lucifer's pupils shrank, his smile froze on his lips, and as the person turned around, a pair of even rarer golden eyes came into his view.

He saw the face of this silver-haired beauty, which was three-points similar to his own.

The facial features were strikingly similar.

He couldn't believe he resembled this unfamiliar archangel!

Lucifer was speechless for a few seconds. If he hadn't fallen from grace, perhaps their temperament and mannerisms would have aligned even more.

The difference was that his past self could be considered holy and aloof at most, while the silver-haired beauty in front of him could only be described as icy cold, devoid of any signs of desires or emotions. Even Adam, stripped of his emotions after the fall, appeared much more lively compared to this person.

Unusual, yet normal. As if it shouldn't exist in this world.

For a moment, Lucifer doubted his own judgment. Was this really an angel?

The Angel of Charm?

Is God's sense of aesthetics becoming more and more distorted?

Lucifer's aversion towards angels decreased significantly. Seeing the angel remain silent, Satan's smile reappeared. "You should recognize me, shouldn't you?"

Being observed by such pure and clear golden eyes, Lucifer felt strangely enveloped in brightness. Only the heavens knew that even sunlight rejected him. If he didn't exert his power to gather sunlight, not a single ray would be willing to shine upon Satan in hell.

Instinctively, Lucifer teased, "What are you looking at?"

"You smile with insincerity," came the voice of the silver-haired beauty, just as cold and icy as their demeanor, like pearls of ice falling onto a jade plate, leaving one's heart void.

Unfortunately, Lucifer was the devil among devils.

He had a strong resistance to this kind of saintly type. Without an ounce of remorse, he continued to ask, "So, how did you determine if it's genuine or fake?"

The other person replied, "Because you clearly don't want to smile. If you don't want to smile, then don't."

Lucifer's interest piqued. "Are you concerned about me?"

This time, it was the silver-haired beauty who fell silent.

"I suddenly don't feel like arguing with you anymore. Don't go to hell without permission in the future, or I'll see it as a provocation from Heaven." Lucifer didn't conceal anything and openly mentioned the matter of the other person going to Hell, which could be considered causing trouble. "If you accompany me for a walk, I won't make things difficult for you."

"Are you threatening me?"

"No, I just had this idea all of a sudden. After all, it's been a while since I visited the mortal realm."

Lucifer attributed his good mood to the beautiful scenery and the beautiful person. He didn't want to ruin such a pleasant atmosphere. "Besides, you were already taking a walk, so what's the harm in having one more person?"

The silver-haired beauty stared at him for quite a while but ultimately couldn't resist Satan's thick-skinned nature.

Lucifer curled his lips into a smile.

Today might be a relaxing day, after all.

Normally, the forces of light and darkness wouldn't peacefully walk together. However, their walk near a secluded grove in the mortal realm went smoothly. Breathing in the fresh air, Lucifer admired the captivating demeanor of the other person, which naturally gave him a sense of accomplishment.

It had been many years since he encountered something that interested him.

Indeed, this outing didn't disappoint.

As they finished their walk, just as the sun was setting, Lucifer couldn't help but feel that the daytime seemed to have lengthened, whether it was an illusion or not.

Before parting ways, Lucifer didn't easily let the other person go and gently asked, "Will you come again tomorrow?"

The silver-haired beauty: "..."

However, in response to Lucifer's sincere invitation, the silver-haired beauty remained silent for a moment and replied apathetically, "Perhaps I will."

The implied meaning was that they might not come.

Ignoring the implication, Lucifer smiled and replied, "I will wait for you right here."

Gracefully stepping aside to give way for their departure, Lucifer hoped to see the silver-haired beauty spread their wings and fly back to heaven. However, with just a glance in his direction, the other person walked out of his line of sight on foot, showing no intention of revealing their angelic wings at all.

Lucifer felt a slight disappointment, but he shrugged it off. He thought to himself, "I'll see them next time."

-----

The following day, Lucifer returned to the familiar spot, but the silver-haired beauty didn't show up. He wasn't too bothered by it, as he contemplated building a palace in this area for a vacation.

On the third day, Lucifer came again and discovered a natural hot spring in the vicinity.

It even emitted a spiritual aura.

Using his magic, Lucifer constructed steps for the hot spring and tidied up the surrounding rocks. He then unapologetically cast a barrier to claim this place as his own.

Feeling a newfound sense of enjoyment, Lucifer began "improving" the area where he first met the other person. The lake became clearer, the grass greener. Lucifer even sprinkled seeds that had been stored in his dimensional space for years. As the seeds entered the soil, they took root and quickly sprouted under the gentle power of nature.

Lucifer always does his best when he does something. He enjoys the process.

When the silver-haired beauty appeared in Lucifer's field of vision again, the surrounding environment underwent astonishing changes. Monotonous lawns were replaced by clusters of flowers, and the dried branches and leaves in the woods vanished, replaced by vibrant life. It no longer resembled a place altered by Satan's touch.

This time, the other person didn't look at him with peculiar eyes, but instead glanced around and commented, "Not bad."

With a sigh, Lucifer said, "You haven't come for a few days."

Ignoring his self-pitying words, the silver-haired beauty walked towards the flower bushes. By the time Lucifer realized it, the beauty was already taking a stroll alone.

"My charm has decreased?" Lucifer couldn't help but touch his cheek, and followed behind, intending to refresh his skills of romance and love with the other person.

Amidst the out-of-season flower bushes, Satan began to reveal his mischievous intentions.

"Look, I've created a better place for you to take a stroll, but I still don't know your name."

"..."

"If you don't tell me, I'll have to find out on my own."

"...Yahweh."

-----

Lucifer and the newly acquainted silver-haired beauty took a walk together, oblivious to the fact that their subordinates with fanatical tendencies were exploding. Due to Satan's absence for several days and his strange reason for leaving, Beelzebub in Hell grew irritable, grabbing their companion by the collar, "What beauty? What beauty could keep His Majesty from coming back! He's been lingering away for so long!"

Samael said with a gloomy face, "It hasn't been long, only four or five days."

Beelzebub collapsed and hugged his head, "His Majesty hasn't left Hell for tens of thousands of years!"

Samael thought for a moment, the situation was sudden. Maybe His Majesty would really experience his first spring in the mortal world.

Out of consideration for his companion, he gave him a word of comfort.

"Take heart."

After all, you won't be able to catch up to His Majesty.

Author's Notes:

Short skit:

Mortal beings: Huh, the sun seems to be staying up for a long time today.

Yahweh listens to their heart's desires and silently looks up at the sky.

Suddenly, the sun trembles.

Sun: Waaah QAQ, God, I've been trying to prolong the day, but if I delay it any longer, it'll be too strange!
