Chapter 16
Note: Warning for some NSFW-ish action... though it's more implied than anything else (,,> ᴗ <,,)
The mock examination results were released.
Gu Juncheng not only secured the first position but also had an absolute advantage of 20 points over the second rank, placing in the top three citywide in the liberal arts. On the other hand, something strange had happened to Feng Linjie. He plummeted to fourth in the grade, causing a myriad of speculations.
Some guessed that Feng Linjie lost confidence due to losing the first rank last time. Others hypothesized that Gu Juncheng's rise boosted everyone's confidence, leading more people to study harder and surpass Feng Linjie.
Only Feng Linjie knew the truth. During his comprehensive science and English exams, every bone in his body ached to the point of breaking. On top of that, the image of a certain young man assertively sitting on him would not leave his mind.
There's no way he could have done well on his exams.
A short while after the mock exams, it was time for Gu Juncheng's birthday.
Cheng Xuyuan pondered for a moment, then asked the system, "What gift should I give him?"
The system replied coldly, "The best gift for him would be for you to eat less."
Ignoring that comment, Cheng Xuyuan decided to magically conjure up a set of the latest tutoring books as a present for Gu Juncheng.
When Gu Juncheng received the tutoring books, he laughed while saying, "Do you think I need these with you around?"
"There is gold to be found in books," Cheng Xuyuan said confidently.

On Gu Juncheng's birthday, he hurriedly had dinner with his family and then went out to spend the day with his friends. For dinner, he ate with Chen Tianqi and others.
On the way home, Gu Juncheng stopped at Dairy Queen to pick up the pre-ordered ice cream cake. He carefully carried it in a taxi and brought it home. Then he called the pen god, Cheng Xuyuan, to tell him that the cake was all his.
Cheng Xuyuan was overjoyed and eagerly started eating with his utensils. Halfway through, he suddenly felt impolite and, with a mouthful of ice cream, raised an eyebrow, asking, "Do you want to make a wish or something?"
"I already made a wish at the restaurant," Gu Juncheng said, smiling.
Feeling a bit insincere about the tutoring materials he had gifted earlier, Cheng Xuyuan stood up and stammered, "Do you want anything else? How about I magic you up something else..."
Gu Juncheng looked at him with a hidden meaning but only shook his head, saying, "Just eat."
Cheng Xuyuan nervously finished the entire cake.
Click.
Before he could even wipe his mouth, Gu Juncheng locked the room's door. He looked at Cheng Xuyuan and asked, "Do you remember what you said about promising to do something for me?"
Cheng Xuyuan thought for a moment. Gu Juncheng had indeed made it into the top five in the city, so he should keep his promise.
So, he asked, "What do you want me to do...
Gu Juncheng took steady steps towards him until Cheng Xuyuan was backed up against the edge of the bed and sat down unsteadily. Taking this opportunity, Gu Juncheng reached out and held his wrists.
"Do you want... to kiss me?" Cheng Xuyuan's cheeks turned a light shade of pink. After a long silence, he voiced this embarrassing question.
However, Gu Juncheng slowly shook his head. He stared into Cheng Xuyuan's beautiful eyes and suddenly said, "Do you remember, the first time we met, you quoted a line from Ahri?"
Cheng Xuyuan was taken aback but nodded after a moment, asking, "Yeah, what about it?"
"I want to hear you say other lines from Ahri." Gu Juncheng licked his lips, a mischievous smile playing on his lips. "Consider it a birthday present."
Cheng Xuyuan looked at him in surprise and suspicion. After a twitch at the corner of his mouth, he said, "What the f**k is wrong with you?!"
"Do it," Gu Juncheng commanded.
Cheng Xuyuan started to rummage through his memory for Ahri's lines, a sense of unease creeping in his mind.
"Try your luck... if you think it's worth it?"
"Not this one," Gu Juncheng intently looked at him, tightening his grip on Cheng Xuyuan's wrist.
"Mercy? Too late..."
"Not this one, either."
"Tell me a secret..."
A flicker passed through Gu Juncheng's eyes. He lowered his voice and instructed, "Keep going."
"Let's... Let's find some real fun..." Cheng Xuyuan's voice began to stutter, as Ahri's lines were just too...
Why on earth had he wanted to cosplay Ahri back then?!
Gu Juncheng's eyes darkened further, and his voice was hoarse, "Continue. You know what I want to hear."
Cheng Xuyuan swallowed, and his hand started shaking.
"Don't... Don't suppress yourself..."
The rhythm of Gu Juncheng's breath quickened.
"Please... Please..." Cheng Xuyuan paused for a long time, still unable to say that last line.
"Do it now." Gu Juncheng furrowed his brows and leaned in closer, with an undeniable dominance in his eyes.
"Please... Pamper me."
This was Ahri's most classic, yet most embarrassing line. After uttering the words, Cheng Xuyuan's face flushed so deeply that it seemed he could bleed. His eyes filled with humiliation from being toyed with. His whole body trembled slightly.
A gentle kiss like never before landed on Cheng Xuyuan's cheek, as soft as a feather.
Gu Juncheng then kissed the corner of Cheng Xuyuan's lips, licking the lingering ice cream clean, and said with satisfaction, "Such a good boy."
Cheng Xuyuan's heart was crying out in a storm. He, a man of his stature, had been forced to spew out Ahri's lines. Where was he supposed to put his face?!
What kind of weird tastes did this male lead have?!
Cheng Xuyuan, who had performed all of Ahri's lines, felt drained. He never wished to recollect this character, which once was his favorite hero, or his tremulous voice.
Gu Juncheng was in a great mood, simply because he had recorded the entire conversation on his phone.
"I did as you asked, can you let me get up now?!" An annoyed Cheng Xuyuan glared at Gu Juncheng.
However, a mischievous grin appeared on Gu Juncheng's face. His eyes danced playfully as he slowly teased, "Didn't you ask me to pamper you?"
"Gu Juncheng, what the hell are you going to..."
Cheng Xuyuan's next few words were muffled by Gu Juncheng. Cheng closed his eyes, his body quivering slightly.
"I'm an adult now, you know." Gu Juncheng kept Cheng Xuyuan's hands behind his head and whispered, "Cheng Xuyuan, do you know about the seven emotions and six desires of mortals?"
Cheng Xuyuan immediately became nervous, his mind filled with alarm bells. He hurriedly broke free, and defensively said, "Don't even think about it!"
Gu Juncheng looked at him with an aggrieved expression, his eyes filled with an innocent yearning.
"Even being an adult is not enough!"
Gu Juncheng leaned in closer and licked his own lips, saying, "But I've been doing so well in my studies recently. Can't you reward me?"
Cheng Xuyuan indignantly replied, "Isn't performing Ahri's lines enough?!"
Gu Juncheng shook his head and moved in closer, trapping Cheng Xuyuan against the headboard. He lowered his head to look at the defiant young man, and his lips curled into a smirk.
Gu Juncheng asked, "How about you help me with your hand instead?"
Cheng Xuyuan looked at Gu Juncheng's aggrieved expression as if he had given in a lot, which made Cheng Xuyuan feel both anger and annoyance. He blurted out, "Rogue, shameless, scumbag..."
Gu Juncheng pressed his forehead against Cheng Xuyuan's and softly said, "Isn't it normal for boys to help each other?"
"Normal my ass!" Cheng Xuyuan resolutely refused.
Gu Juncheng sighed and took his phone out of his pocket, pressing the play button on the recording.
"P-please, pamper me..."
The trembling voice of Cheng Xuyuan echoed from the device, turning his own face green with embarrassment. He gritted his teeth and yelled, "Delete it! If you don't delete it I'll fight you to the death!"
Gu Juncheng turned off the recording and put away his phone. He reached out and grabbed Cheng Xuyuan's wrist, guiding his hand towards himself, starting from his chest and slowly moving downwards.
"...?!"
Cheng Xuyuan suddenly lost his ability to speak, and his fingertips began to quiver. His mind was blank, as if short-circuited. He seemed to have become extraordinarily sensitive, and yet, felt as if he was numb to everything. His breathing became laboured, and the feeling of disgrace made him uncontrollably curl his toes.
For the first time, he was touching someone else's body so intimately and directly.
"Stop... please, don't..."
The trembling in the Pen God's voice was so intense that it warbled, but Gu Juncheng showed no sign of letting go. His powerful hold left Cheng Xuyuan no room to resist, and he placed himself wholly in Gu Juncheng's hands.
Cheng Xuyuan felt as though his hand had been seared by a hot iron, and he could hardly grip anything. His face turned as red as an apple in an instant.
With Gu Juncheng's guidance, Cheng Xuyuan did to somebody else something that he would have typically done for himself. A scenario he never thought would occur.
The scent of pheromones filled the room. Gu Juncheng gently bit Cheng Xuyuan's lower lip, teasing it with a slight force. Then, mirroring Cheng Xuyuan's previous actions, he reciprocated, indulging in a mutual exchange of "help" with the Pen God.

Half an hour later.
Cheng Xuyuan was dripping with sweat, while Gu Juncheng tidied up the room with a satisfied look on his face. His eyes held a touch of gentle amusement as he deliberately asked, "Are you comfortable?"
Cheng Xuyuan had no strength to look at him; lying on the bed like a fish out of water, he gasped for air.
After a while, he spoke in a barely audible voice, "What a scoundrel..."
That night, Gu Juncheng did not allow the Pen God to turn back into a pen, insisting it was his birthday and he had the final say. He forced the Pen God to share the same bed with him.
"I won't do anything else."
Fortunately, Gu Juncheng was a man of his word, so Cheng Xuyuan chose to believe him. They thought that two tall young men sharing a narrow bed might be quite crowded, but they didn't expect that it would be surprisingly comfortable when Gu Juncheng embraced him from behind.
During the night, Gu Juncheng buried his face in the Pen God's neck, breathing his warm breath onto him. In a soft voice, he asked, "Will you stay with me after I graduate?"
Cheng Xuyuan hesitated, not knowing how to respond.
Gu Juncheng tightened his embrace, causing the Pen God some pain. He grumbled, "You're not going to ignore me after I finish my college entrance exams, are you?"
Cheng Xuyuan suddenly felt a bit sentimental, realizing that he was gradually getting used to this world, but he would ultimately have to leave.
He was not a native, but just a passerby.
However, to make Gu Juncheng feel at ease about his exams, Cheng Xuyuan smiled and replied, "How could that be? As long as the pen is in your hand, I am always with you."
Gu Juncheng chuckled softly. He had been planning for a while; once the exams were done, he wanted the whole world to know how much he liked this adorable and handsome boy. He wanted to be with him every day, to do all the things that couples do, from morning till night, from south to north, never letting him leave his side.
"Don't leave me."
Gu Juncheng's voice trailed from behind Cheng Xuyuan.
"You might not know this, but if I hadn't met you, I might still have been living an aimless life, not making an effort for the college entrance exams, waking up early, and going to bed early. Now, though, all I see are you and textbooks..."
The young man's voice sounded tender and passionate in the dark.
"I know you're an immortal, and perhaps in your long, long life, I'm just a fleeting visitor. But until that day comes, let me stay with you. I'll make you desserts, take you for barbecue, accompany you to movies, travel with you, walk on crowded streets, play video games, explore natural beauties..."
Cheng Xuyuan seemed to have a lump in his throat, taking a while to respond.
"Okay?"
The Pen God closed his eyes in the dark.
After a while, perhaps because he was tired, he responded in a muffled voice, "Okay."
